General presentation

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the Université de Sherbrooke in 1983, Dennis Kounadis was called to the Bar in 1984. In 1990, he established his own legal practice with a view to providing legal services to local businesses and more specifically, to entrepreneurs in the Greek community. He oversaw the growth of Kounadis Perreault into a dynamic, commercial law firm with a diverse clientele. Notwithstanding strong roots in the Hellenic Community of Montreal, Dennis Kounadis’ insistence upon efficient and personalized representation has engendered a wide client base in Canada and the United States.

In addition to his expertise in franchising, licensing and real estate, he has extensive experience in banking and financing and is well versed in the areas of share and asset purchase transactions and the arbitration of commercial disputes.

Dennis Kounadis has been a long-time supporter of community and charitable causes; in 2012 he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his services.

A skilled negotiator, Dennis Kounadis insists on meticulous preparation and fundamental fairness, which has won the respect of clients and adversaries alike.
