Austin del Rio practises law with a focus on tax and estate planning. In particular, he helps business owners and real estate investors set up tax-efficient legal structures. This may include incorporating a company or registering a partnership, putting in place a personal or family trust, planning for asset protection, or reorganizing the business structure.
Austin also works closely with individuals to draw up their wills and succession plans to ensure that their businesses and investments transfer to the next generation in the most tax-effective manner.
Experienced in international taxation, Austin applies his dynamic and creative approach to problem solving to assist individuals with the tax aspects of buying and selling a business and cross-border investments. This includes American citizens investing in Canada, as well as Canadians investing in the United States.
