Spiegel Sohmer Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Morris Jacobson as the new Managing Shareholder effective January 1, 2018 to spearhead the firm’s business development.

Morris is a member of our tax law group and is a leading expert in the field of Trusts. He has been preparing for his new administrative duties since being appointed as a shareholder in 2007. Morris is also a member of the Compensation Committee.

Morris will lead the firm with his contagious energy and relentless passion. He will continue to maintain Spiegel Sohmer's prominent position in the Montreal market for PMEs while securing the legacy of our founders to the next generation. His predecessor, Alexandre Dufresne, will remain involved in many aspects of the management of the firm while continuing his practice in taxation.
