Montréal, May 6, 2019 – The expansion of Spiegel Sohmer continues with the addition of two new talented lawyers. Talia Bensoussan is joining the business law group and Alessandra Lubrina is bringing added force to the litigation group.

Talia Bensoussan

Talia Bensoussan practices in the areas of corporate, commercial and banking law. Her expertise is primarily transactional in nature and involves complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations as well as venture capital and private equity financings. She is also frequently involved in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, particularly in the private financing field. Before joining Spiegel Sohmer, she worked at a Canadian national firm.

Alessandra Lubrina

Alessandra Lubrina’ s principal fields of practice are civil litigation and family law. Passionately engaged in politics, Alessandra Lubrina is a member of the Legal Committee of the Liberal Party of Quebec (LPQ). She also ran for office during the 2018 provincial general election. Upon completion of her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, she pursued her equivalencies in Quebec Law from the University of Montréal and subsequently became a member of the Quebec Bar in 2017.
