Law Practice

Barry Stein is an accomplished negotiator and mediator. He has established a prominent position in the fields of commercial, real estate and leasing transactions. Barry also possesses an impressive practice in corporate law. His numerous business contacts have also enabled many of his clients to share in successful joint ventures and he has actively participated in the reorganization of management and in the restructuring of many corporations. He regularly represents his clients both nationally and internationally in mergers and acquisitions. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to labour law as well as litigation. He negotiates collective agreements, and appears before the Quebec administrative tribunals on a regular basis. In addition he practices in estate planning and estate law.

With an impressive knowledge in health systems across the country, Barry has been involved in leading cases for reimbursement of out of country health care costs. He lobbies before government health agencies and ministries both on a Federal and Provincial level.

As President of Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada, he actively represents the interests of cancer patients across the country. Barry also speaks across Canada and internationally on the topic of colorectal cancer.
