Yves Dupras practices in Business and Securities Law. Before joining us, he was a lawyer at a major national law firm and subsequently at his own firm. He has particular expertise in going-public transactions such as IPOs, reverse takeovers and qualifying transactions, the listing of companies on Canadian Stock Exchanges, stock options plans, shareholders meetings, information circulars, mergers and acquisitions and in the securities laws and regulations applicable to public companies. He is regularly involved in private and public offerings and in the review and drafting of prospectuses and other offering documents. He also acts as counsel for investment brokers involved in the distribution of securities. Furthermore, he provides counsel to corporations and advises clients in the negotiation and drafting of various commercial agreements.
