Law Practice
Jean-François Brière recently joined the firm as a partner. He previously practiced at a major law firm that specialised in complex litigation where he was the head of the Civil and commercial litigation Group at their Montreal office. Jean-François is a trial lawyer who practices in civil, commercial and corporate litigation with specific experience in shareholders conflicts, breach of contract, injunctions, and other special proceedings. In addition, Jean-François’ areas of specialization include all aspects of real estate litigation and commercial leases, as well as construction and banking litigation, insolvency and corporate restructuring. He has appeared before various courts, administrative bodies and arbitrators. His practice covers all fields of litigation, from counselling clients, settlement of conflicts and representation of clients before the Courts.
