Law Practice
Martin Daniel Boily focuses his practice on corporate taxation, more specifically domestic and foreign acquisitions and reorganizations. His expertise also encompasses personal and testamentary tax planning. He joined Spiegel Sohmer Inc. after having worked with national law and accounting firms.
Martin also advises our clients and their accountants regarding tax audits and enquiries of the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec. He also intervenes in contestations filed with the federal and provincial Canadian tax authorities.
As a result of his varied professional experience, Martin offers a practical approach as well as innovative solutions to his clients’ needs.

In addition, he has made various presentations before the Association de planification fiscale et financière, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and has been a sessional lecturer with respect to the In-depth Tax Course offered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the continuing education programs offered by the Ordre des comptables agrees du Québec.
